Information requests

We collect your name, email address and, if you choose to include one, a brief introduction. We use these details to review your enquiry, respond and follow up on your interest in acquiring the business. Your name and email are required to identify and respond to your enquiry; the introduction is optional. Please do not send identity documents, bank details or sensitive information through this form.

When you request steps towards a possible acquisition in your own name, the legal basis is taking those pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general enquiries or contacts on behalf of a company, the basis is the legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries about the sale (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not use these details for newsletters or marketing campaigns.

Access and retention

Enquiries are forwarded to the website’s email address and handled by Bruno Martins. No enquiry archive is created in the form’s database. Hostinger provides hosting and email services and may process the data necessary to provide and secure those services through authorised personnel and providers. Technical access and security logs, such as IP address, date and browser information, and backups may exist.

Enquiries that do not progress to negotiations are deleted within 12 months of the last relevant contact. If negotiations are ongoing, necessary data is retained during that process. Data needed to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims may be retained for the applicable period. Backups follow the provider’s retention cycles.

Providers and transfers

Hostinger’s services may involve processing data outside the European Economic Area. Hostinger’s data processing agreement provides, where applicable, for European Commission standard contractual clauses for transfers to countries without an adequacy decision. You can consult the agreement and request information about the applicable safeguards using the email address above.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, write to the email address above. You may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) or the competent supervisory authority.

We do not make automated decisions about enquiries or profile prospective buyers.

Visit statistics and preferences

If you accept statistics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand where visits come from, which pages are viewed and how many enquiries are successfully submitted through the form. Technical and usage data are processed, such as browser and device information, visit source, viewed pages and navigation and submission events. We do not send your name, email address or form message to this tool. Measurement is not required to use the website or submit an enquiry.

The tool loads only after you accept. You can accept or decline in the statistics notice and change your choice at any time through “Statistics preferences” in the footer. Your choice is saved locally in your browser for 180 days. When you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies configured to last up to 180 days; when you withdraw permission, we attempt to delete Analytics cookies accessible on this domain and reload the page to stop measurement. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

The Analytics property is configured to retain event and user data for 2 months, without resetting the period on new activity. These controls do not apply to the service’s standard aggregate reports. This period is separate from the 180-day preference and browser cookie lifetime.

This use is based on your consent. This configuration does not enable personalised advertising, remarketing or Google signals. Enquiries sent without statistics permission continue to be handled for a response under “Information requests”, but are not counted by this measurement.
